MadVR Envy MK3 Video Processors Arrive in the GCC, Exclusively Through Cache

MadVR Envy MK3 Video Processors Arrive in the GCC, Exclusively Through Cache

The new madVR Envy MK3 generation, the Envy Extreme MK3 8K-48G, Envy Pro MK3 8K-48G and Envy Core MK2 8K-48G, is now available across the GCC through Cache, madVR's exclusive distributor for the region. madVR Labs describes them as the first and only video processors with full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 input and output. The range went live on cache.ae on 27 August 2026 and ships from Dubai stock, with dealer pricing visible through a cache.ae trade account.

What does a madVR Envy video processor do?

An Envy sits between the source and the projector or display. It applies frame by frame HDR dynamic tone mapping, AI upscaling and automatic aspect ratio management, so the picture on screen reflects what the HDR master actually contains rather than what the display can work out on its own. madVR Labs sells the Envy in nearly 50 countries.

If you are planning a full room, start with our home cinema Dubai guide, then browse the range on the madVR brand page.

What is new in the MK3 generation?

madVR Labs announced the three new models on 3 September 2025. The headline is full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 input and output, which madVR states makes them the first and only video processors to carry it. The new generation supports 4K 120Hz at 12-bit 4:4:4, VRR up to 360Hz with DSC on the output, and low latency gaming modes, so one processor covers film and console duty. On the Core MK2, VRR gaming and the full 48 Gbps bandwidth arrive with the Core Premium Package.

A software release across the Envy range added Dynamic Subtitle Overlay (on the Core models this needs the Premium Package), DeinterlaceAI and multi lingual menus, with VRR output extended to all Envy models manufactured since December 2020.

Envy Extreme MK3: the reference model

The Envy Extreme MK3 runs an NVIDIA RTX 5080 GPU and is the only Envy with MotionAI, madVR's AI motion interpolation, and Geometry Correction for curved screens and anamorphic lens setups. Its patent pending DTM 2.0 engine performs frame by frame HDR dynamic tone mapping with Highlight Recovery, Contrast Recovery and Shadow Detail Recovery.

Calibrators get unlimited profiles, with 256 point 3D LUT and 4,096 point 1D LUT support, compatible with ColourSpace and Calman. Every unit ships with the RC2 backlit remote and a five year warranty, and madVR lists the Extreme MK3 as eligible for future paid hardware upgrades.

How do the Envy Pro MK3 and Core MK2 compare?

The Envy Pro MK3 replaces the Pro MK2. It carries the same DTM 2.0 tone mapping and full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 as the flagship, built around an NVIDIA RTX 5060 GPU in a 4U aluminium chassis, with AI upscaling to 4K, 5K and 8K, the RC2 remote and a five year warranty.

The Envy Core MK2 is the 2U entry point, with doubled RAM and a stronger CPU than the original Core. It is 8K ready: the hardware carries full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 input and output and operates at HDMI 2.0 18G as standard, with the full bandwidth, 8K60, 4K120 and VRR gaming unlocked by the Core Premium Package. The Premium Package also adds 5K and 8K upscaling, Dynamic Subtitle Overlay and unlimited calibration profiles, and extends the warranty from two years to four.
