What problem the PUV-1710L solves

Standard HDMI cables max out at around 10-15 metres before signal degradation. HDBaseT extenders push that to 70 metres for 1080p — but full 4K HDR at 60Hz with HDCP 2.3 has historically required fibre or compression trade-offs over longer runs. The PUV-1710L-AVLC Kit changes that.

How AVLC works

AVLC — Adaptive Video Low-latency Compression — is CYP's proprietary codec for transmitting 4K HDR content over twisted pair at distance. It preserves HDR metadata, keeps latency low enough for gaming and interactive content, and runs over standard Cat6A. The result is 4K distribution at 100 metres without the cost and complexity of a fibre backbone.
