Polar Bear has worked with Lutron Electronics to ensure the Ursium reads as part of the same wall-plate suite as the Lutron Alisse keypad range. Polar Bear uses a Lutron-authorised finishing partner in the UK to apply matching finishes, so the bezel, surface texture and material of the Ursium thermostat coordinate with the rest of the Alisse hardware on the wall instead of contrasting with it.

Integration with the Lutron control system runs over Lutron LEAP, the same protocol Lutron uses for its own ecosystem. That keeps the integrator on a single, supported control path. No third-party gateway is needed for the Lutron side of the project.

The Zentium Pro: Wider Compatibility

Where the Ursium is Lutron-coordinated by design, the Zentium Pro is the broader Polar Bear thermostat platform. It pairs with the UMC controller and connects to the major control system brands used in luxury UAE projects: Savant, Lutron, Control4, Crestron, Crestron Home, NorthBT, Trend and Delta. It also connects directly to the major air-conditioning brands so the thermostat can drive setpoint, mode and fan speed through whichever AC platform the project specifies.

For UAE villa and hospitality projects this matters because the AC strategy varies by project: VRF in some, chilled water in others, split systems in apartments. The Zentium Pro and UMC pair gives the integrator a flexible specification that holds up across the variations, while still delivering the wall plate finish and craft that gets Polar Bear specified into luxury interiors.
