The IC64 sits in the middle of the 6.5 inch step-up family, moving from IC62's standard polypropylene and silk-dome to an injection-molded polypropylene woofer and pivoting 1 inch teteron-dome tweeter for smoother, more detailed sound. Tuning is room-wide rather than focused directly underneath the speaker, so coverage stays even as listeners move around. In the Ring tool-less mounting keeps install as quick as the entry model.
Frequency response is 50Hz to 20kHz with 100 watt power handling, a clear step up in both detail and headroom over the IC62 in the same footprint and with the same Trim-Ring.
