Product Description
The IC86 is Adept's flagship in-ceiling speaker. An 8 inch injection-molded graphite woofer reduces distortion and keeps the midrange responsive, paired with a pivoting 1 inch aluminium-dome tweeter for crystalline highs. Wide frequency coverage and serious power handling make it the reference choice when the installation calls for the best available. In the Ring tool-less mounting shares the same Trim-Ring as the rest of the ceiling range.
Frequency response runs from 38Hz to 20kHz with 175 watt power handling, the widest bandwidth and highest headroom of any Adept Audio ceiling speaker. As the manufacturer puts it: if your installation demands the best, the IC86 is the speaker you want.
