Product Description
The IO80 is the largest and most capable speaker in Adept's surface-mount range, built for demanding indoor and outdoor installs. A three-way design combines an 8 inch injection-molded polypropylene woofer, a 3 inch injection-molded polypropylene midrange and a pivoting 1 inch aluminium-dome tweeter, with a specially tuned slot port for low bass without a subwoofer. The adjustable 70V/100V or 4-ohm transformer tap gives installers flexibility across distributed audio and standard stereo setups, and the front-mounted tap allows adjustment after install.
Frequency response runs from 39Hz to 20kHz with 150 watt power handling, and the 70V/100V taps offer 60, 30 and 15 watt settings alongside the 4-ohm option, so one speaker model covers both commercial distributed systems and residential stereo zones.
Ideal for large gardens, pool areas, commercial outdoor zones and any install needing genuine output outdoors. Includes an aluminium swivel bracket, in black or white, with a limited 5-year warranty.
