Product Description
Touch Interface
The new Touch Ursium replaces the digital crown with a sleek capacitive touchscreen, offering an intuitive, minimalist interface for climate control. Simply swipe up or down to adjust the room temperature (setpoint). The on-screen numbers change colour to reflect your action: orange for heating, blue for cooling. A brief animation—an orange flame or blue snowflake—confirms the system's response on the main screen.
All core functions are accessible through the touchscreen interface. Tap the screen to cycle through available features:
Fan control: OFF, AUTO, 1–6 (installer-configurable)
Zone 2 temperature: Heating and cooling (if enabled)
Towel radiator: OFF, AUTO, or set a timer in 5-minute increments
If any features are disabled in the system settings, they are automatically hidden from the interface to ensure a clean and simple user experience.
Dual Zone / Dual Room Control
Ursium supports dual zone control, allowing full independent management of heating and cooling in two rooms. The second zone is activated using remote temperature probes wired to the rear of the unit. If not required, Zone 2 can be disabled, removing any related interface elements.
Heating-Only or Cooling-Only Modes
Each zone can be configured individually as heating-only, cooling-only, or heating and cooling. When a specific mode is selected, the thermostat automatically hides any irrelevant symbols or settings for a simplified display.
Built-in Humidity Sensing
Zone 1 includes a built-in humidity sensor, which can be enabled or disabled via the display. Humidity data is always available via Modbus, regardless of display settings.
Temperature Sensors & Averaging
The Touch Ursium accepts up to five 10k3 remote probes, with three assignable to Zone 1 and two to Zone 2.
Zone 1 can average multiple sensors or disable the internal sensor for flexible thermostat placement.
Each zone can have a dedicated probe for floor temperature monitoring.
All sensor data is accessible via Modbus, making the thermostat a mini temperature hub for monitoring AV equipment, pipework, manifolds, or other spaces.
