Two things separate Ci from the rest of the in-wall market.
The first is ATL, PMC's Advanced Transmission Line. Instead of a simple sealed or ported box, ATL loads the driver through a long, heavily damped tunnel that delivers deep, fast, controlled bass from a slim cabinet. The Ci140 reaches 32Hz at the -3dB point and extends to 29Hz, a figure most in-wall speakers cannot approach. That means genuine low-end impact without filling the room with subwoofers.
The second is n-compass directivity. The Ci140's in-house 50mm PMC55 dome reproduces the critical vocal band as a single, unbroken source, and n-compass technology controls how that sound disperses across the room. The result is consistent tonal balance from every seat, whether the speaker is installed horizontally or vertically. Dialogue stays locked and intelligible across the whole audience, not just the centre chair.
