The device integrates natively with KNX, Modbus and Matter — the three protocols that cover 95% of the integrator market in the GCC — and supports zone-level scheduling, occupancy-based setback and remote management via a smart home hub.

Installation and compatibility

The thermostat is a direct replacement for existing wall thermostats in most GCC residential wiring schemes. Integrators can drop it into a Control4, Crestron, Savant or KNX system with minimal reconfiguration. For projects using CoolAutomation for HVAC integration, the Polar Bear thermostat pairs naturally as the user-facing control surface.
