Atmos overhead channels are now a standard expectation in luxury home cinema. The Insight ICi6 is the in-ceiling option in Wisdom's Insight family, designed to share the planar magnetic acoustic signature of the wall-mounted Insight models so all overhead, surround, and front channels integrate tonally as one system.
Where the ICi6 is specified
The most common configuration in UAE reference cinema is to use Insight P4i or P6i across the L/C/R, Insight P2i or P4i for surrounds, and four to six ICi6 for Atmos overhead positions. In media rooms or library cinemas where wall real estate is limited, the ICi6 can also serve as the L/C/R, mounted in the ceiling near the screen.
Wisdom Audio Insight Series
The Wisdom Audio Insight Series is built around proprietary planar magnetic thin-film driver technology. Where conventional speakers use cone drivers and dome tweeters split across a crossover, planar magnetic drivers distribute sound across a wide flat surface as a single acoustic source over most of the audible range.
